Scot-Ads began in December 1994. In those days, we had one publication in north Scotland, and ambitions of changing the way Scots bought and sold to each other.

We've now grown to cover almost the entire country, offering a great service to Scots keen for a bargain and a simple way to buy and sell, whether they're a business or private individual. We're now number one in Scotland.

To keep things truly local, there are four editions of Scot-Ads: Highland & Grampian (published twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays); Tayside & Fife; Edinburgh & East; and Central Belt & Ayrshire - all on sale from Fridays.

We also offer you the ability to 'double your chance', by buying and selling online as well as through the paper.

We now...

We've also become known as the place to buy and sell cars. Each paper carries a Scot-Cars pullout, full of cars, vans, 4x4s, commercials and motorbikes for sale, as well as spares and accessories. As well as private adverts, many dealers have found Scot-Cars the ideal way to promote their business.
